Pressure wash the vehicle to remove loose dirt, then apply snow foam through the lance attachment to help pull excess dirt from the vehicle safely. This will lessen the risk of swirl marks. Scrub the wheel arches clean at this point. Rinse off vehicle after a few minutes contact time.
After the pre-rinsing the vehicle down using your pressure washer, using the two bucket method. One bucket with a mix of water and wash & wax solution, the other half full with clean water only, wash the vehicle from top to bottom remembering to rinse your mit in the half full bucket before putting it back into the bucket with solution. This helps reduce dirt re contacting your vehicles paintwork. The wash contains a low level of wax adding slight protection and shine.
These are great for chemically removing bonded contaminants from a cars paintwork and exterior glass such as fly's, bird muck, tree sap, and road grime. However these products can remove wax/sealants previously applied to paintwork leaving it unprotected. Exercise caution when using these products.
Providing you clean your car regularly, ideally weekly, break-dust and muck should be easily washed away without the need for harsh cleaners. Use a non acid based wheel cleaner if required. There is a thin line between effective cleaning and the risk of causing damage to delicate wheel coatings. Acid is unsuitable for regular use and should be avoided due to its chemically aggressive nature.
Give the inside of your car a tidy up. This includes the interior glass cleaned and buffed, plastics and console dusted, cleaned and dressing applied if necessary. Followed by a full vacuuming of the upholstery, under seats and in the boot. Spray a light fabric freshener after vacuuming for that new car scent.
Ensure to clean all door shuts using a microfibre cloth and cleaning spray to stop the build up of muck spoiling the look.
